Polish participation was also marked in other equipment design and IT work.

Specialists from the Jagiellonian University, AGH University of Science and Technology, Institute of Nuclear Physics PAS and University of Lodz have contributed to:

• work on the “trigger” for the FlashCAM camera for the MST Medium-sized Telescope. The electronics used are based on fast ADC (flash) transmitters,
• work on the design of connectors for carbon fiber pipes and on the software for the Large-sized (LST) telescope,
• and also a small contribution to the design of an American double-mirror telescope.
